Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were very nice, slightly dated but spacious and well-appointed. However, they lacked some expected touches for the price paid. The service was a mix of friendly and professional but also unhelpful and rude at times. The location was spectacular with great dining options nearby. The dining experience had some issues but was overall satisfactory. The facilities were adequate but nothing exceptional.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room I stayed in had a fantastic view of the swimming pool and the turquoise ocean, which was so beautiful to wake up to. However, the noise from the ocean waves made it a bit hard to sleep at times. Room 222 was exceptional, offering a comfortable and spacious experience.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although grubby and dated with ordinary furniture, were mostly clean and featured a nice balcony. The service was top-notch, with friendly and professional staff, although the bathroom lacked soundproofing. The location provides a great balance of convenience to town and peace by being a short walk away from multiple bars and restaurants. The dining experience had good variety but missed some items and had additional charges for hot food. The poolside facilities are half open with stunning views across the Coral Sea.
The hotel offers lovely rooms overlooking the pool, hotel jetty, and the sea, with comfortable beds, a spacious layout, and inviting amenities. While the decor may be a bit dated, it blends well with the Airlie Beach atmosphere. However, the lack of a full breakfast for the first night was a downside.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have been assigned such a lovely room with stunning water and mountain views. Although the bed was just okay, the beauty of the rest of the hotel grounds made up for it. Waking up to the gorgeous views was a plus, even if it was a bit too bright in the morning. This hotel is definitely not the place to stay cooped up in the room with so much beauty to explore around.
The hotel is perfectly situated, offering stunning sea views while maintaining a sense of seclusion. The rooms are a bit dated with some noise from the bar/restaurant, but the location is ideal for a relaxing stay. The dining experience, although convenient, could be improved. Overall, a comfortable and worthwhile stay.
